A little bit about our family:
Kevin and I run our pet care business full-time, and we absolutely love what we do! We’ve spent many years caring for both our own pets and those of others, and every furry friend has a special place in our hearts. We were lucky to share 10 wonderful years with Dante, our loyal lab mix, 17 years with our sweet kitty Stupes, and 15 amazing years with our beloved Manchester terrier, Virgil. 🌈 While we don’t currently have pets of our own, we treasure every moment with our Fur Friends family—and we love caring for all the furry, feathered, and even scaly friends who come our way.How we started:
When we rescued Dante, we quickly learned he had severe environmental allergies that limited where he could go. He tested positive for a variety of grasses, trees, and dander, which meant trips to the local dog park or outdoor play areas weren’t an option. We wanted him to socialize and make friends, so we came up with a solution: why not have new furry friends come to our home?Starting Fur Friends Pet Sitting was a dream—allowing us to do something we’re truly passionate about while giving Dante a safe, fun way to meet other dogs. Since opening in 2014, we’ve been overwhelmed with love from 5⭐ reviews, happy pets, and repeat clients. We’re so grateful that what began as a way to help our own pup has become our full-time business. This truly is the BEST job ever!

OUR SERVICES

DOG BOARDING in our home means you’ll drop off your pup(s) at our address at a previously scheduled time.
Timeliness is key—we carefully plan around drop-off and pick-up windows to respect everyone's schedule. If something changes, just let us know as early as possible and we’ll work with you to reschedule. Your dog will stay with us in our home for the duration of your trip, enjoying comfort and care until your return.DAILY PICKUP & DROP OFF HOURS 8AM-9PMEXTENDED RATE POLICY Our nightly rate covers a full 24 hours of care, starting at your pet’s drop-off time and ending at the same time on pick-up day. If you need to pick up a little later, that’s no problem—we apply extended care rates per pet to make sure your furry friend is well cared for and we’re fairly compensated for the extra time:
2–8 extra hours: +50% of the nightly rate
8+ extra hours: +100% of the nightly rateDOGGY DAYCARE is a daytime service where you drop your dog(s) off for the day in our home anytime between 8am-7pm. We do not offer on going daycare (example, every Tuesday) just occasional daycare daysDROP IN VISITS we’ll visit your home to care for your pets—feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medication, and more.
Each visit typically lasts 30–60 minutes, and we can stop by up to four times per day, anytime between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM.HOUSE SITTING we stay in your home overnight with your pets (9 PM–8:30 AM). Each overnight includes two 30 minute daytime drop-in visits (around noon and 5 PM) for meals, potty breaks, playtime, and walks. We’re also happy to bring in mail, water plants, and take out the trash—just let us know!MEET & GREETS we require meet & greets for all new clients. These 15–20 minute visits give you a chance to meet us and see where your pup will stay (for boarding/daycare) or allow us to come to you (for drop-ins/house-sitting). When meeting at our home, your dog can explore our space and get familiar with the environment. For safety, current boarding guests will be outside during the visit, and we’ll rotate dogs during the tour so you can also check out our fenced backyard. We do not allow our current boarders to meet with new clients during the meet and greet process for safety reasons. However, you’re welcome to book a daycare day to see how your pup adjusts before a longer stay. After drop-off, we’ll introduce your dog slowly and calmly—one-on-one—with our current guests. We’ll share photos and videos shortly after!DROP OFFS & PICK UPS please pull down our driveway to the garage area and message us upon arrival. We’ll come out to greet you and help with your dog’s belongings (food, bags, blankets, etc.) After you leave, we bring your dog to the backyard to potty and explore, then introduce them one at a time to the other pups. Kevin and I are very experienced in pack introductions, and we ensure the transition is calm and safe.For pick-ups, please send us your ETA and message us upon arrival—we’ll bring your pup out to you!SITTER PICK UP & DROP OFF if you’re within 5 miles of our home, we offer pet pick-up and drop-off between 8 AM – 9 PM for $40 roundtrip or $20 one-way.
*** Please let us know if your dog is prone to getting carsick ***BATH ADD-ON if you would like your pup to come home squeaky clean after their fun doggie vacay at our house, you can add on a bath for them before pickup! Bath time would include an all-over warm water rinse in our stand-up shower followed by a scrub with Earth Bath hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner. Then we'll towel them off and get them ready to head home. Please note, we do not offer full grooming services - haircuts, clippings, nail trims or styling.OUR HOME all guests are welcome in the common areas of our home. While the bedroom is usually off-limits, nervous pups are welcome to sleep with us if needed.
Our fully fenced backyard has a straw-covered play area, a cement patio, and cozy outdoor furniture. It’s well-maintained and perfect for safe outdoor fun!FUN FOR ALL All breeds big and small are welcome in our home. We have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes, and personalities. We can make sure all your pet's personal needs are met during their stay with us.We accept unspayed female dogs, so unfortunately we cannot accept intact males dogs at this time.A quick note about puppies: We do not board puppies under 6 months old. Little pups need extra training, frequent overnight potty breaks, and specialized care that our boarding setup isn’t designed to provide. We want every dog to have the safest, most comfortable stay possible!MEDICATIONS & SPECIAL NEEDS We are both very experienced when it comes to administering medicine to pets. It is very important to give us detailed instructions on your pet's medication dosages and times. We are experienced with diabetic dogs and can administer insulin as needed.DAILY UPDATES You’ll receive daily text updates with photos and videos—at least a couple per day! Want more? Just ask!HOME SECURITY We have a home security system with cameras indoors/outdoors that help us keep an eye on your pets even while we are sleeping or running out for a quick errand.OUR GUARANTEE Kisses, hugs, and treats are always free here! We treat every pet as if they were our fur baby. Being this is our full-time job our top priority is making sure you and your pets are comfortable, happy, well cared for, and fully satisfied with our service. We require all dogs to be current on their rabies, distemper/parvo, bordetella vaccines and monthly flea/tick medication.
